The story of Carolina Cravings Co. begins with a southern recipe book being passed to two friends Ily and Yera. After taking ownership of Carolina Cravings in February of 2021 these friends immediately decided they were going to add their personal roots, creating a multi-cultural/bilingual bakery in downtown Pittsboro.Our store atmosphere is cozy, old-timey, warm and friendly. When you enter, you will certainly be reminded of your mother and grandmothers baking in the kitchen at home. Your senses will be awakened by the smell of fresh baked delights and locally sourced Aromatic Roasters coffee, seeing our bakers in action, hearing all the sounds of the kitchen and of course tasting our treats.Our basic ingredients include butter, eggs, sugar, flour, love, dreams, and a passion for baking. So please stop in and try our pie bars, cheese-ems, no-bake cookies, chocolates, macaroons, pies, cakes, and breads. Also, don’t forget to try additional treats inspired by our roots: pan dulce, flan, tres leches cake, bolillo rolls, and more. To help support our local community, we also sell locally made and sourced items that include Cackalacky sauces and coffees, Rocky River Bees honey, Vortex coffee, and Cathis Farm jams.We look forward to your visit and an opportunity to make new friends.
