Leadership Chatham – Session 5: Public Safety
Thursday, January 8, 2026
Description
Leadership Chatham is a signature nine-month leadership development program of The Chatham Chamber, designed to cultivate informed, connected, and engaged leaders who care deeply about the future of our community.
Through immersive, hands-on sessions, participants explore the social, cultural, and economic systems that shape Chatham County. Each month, local experts, public servants, and community leaders open doors to real-world conversations and behind-the-scenes learning, offering firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges facing our county today and in the years ahead.
As Chatham continues to grow alongside our surrounding region, the need for thoughtful, collaborative leadership has never been greater. Leadership Chatham equips participants with the knowledge, relationships, and perspective needed to lead with confidence, curiosity, and purpose in their workplaces and communities.
Session 5 focuses on Public Safety, highlighting the people, partnerships, and systems that work every day to protect and serve our residents. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how public safety agencies collaborate, how services are delivered across municipalities, and how leadership, preparation, and trust play a vital role in keeping Chatham County strong and resilient.
This session is part of the 2025–2026 Leadership Chatham program schedule and reflects the collective effort of our community partners, speakers, and hosts who generously invest their time and expertise to make each month meaningful. The Chatham Chamber is grateful for their leadership and commitment to developing the next generation of Chatham leaders.
Whether you are a current participant, an alumnus, or someone interested in joining a future cohort, Leadership Chatham offers a powerful opportunity to learn, connect, and lead with impact.
