Each month we explore a new theme bringing to life the story of our streets, buildings, and the folks who lived here. Walk through history with us and discover how downtown Pittsboro has evolved through the years. Our June tour focuses on 'Transportation.' Join us as we learn how roads, rails and other modes of transport shaped growth, commerce and daily life in Pittsboro. Follow the routes that connected our downtown to the wider world in centuries past. Discover how the development of these routes changed how and where people moved and settled around the county.
