Description

NC History Book Club: Between the Lines The next meeting of the Chatham County Historical Association’s NC History Book Club will take place on Saturday, November 21 at 9:30am in the Historic Courthouse. We’ll be discussing The Tuscarora War, by David LaVere, a book about one of the most consequential conflicts in North Carolina’s early history. LaVere explores the struggle between the Tuscarora people and European settlers that ultimately changed the political and geographic landscape of the early colony and helped shape North Carolina as we know it today. Whether you’re a lifelong history lover or simply curious about the people and events that shaped North Carolina, we welcome you to join us for one or all of our monthly meetings. Participation is free. When: Saturday, November 21, 9:30 am Where: Chatham County’s Historic Courthouse, 9 Hillsboro St., Pittsboro To register: www.chathamhistory.org Questions?
