Description

The Chatham County Historical Association wants to better understand what life was like in the 18th and 19th centuries in one of Chatham County’s most important cities.  Do you have any old photos of  Chatham Street?   Any stories about buying “Mother’s Bread” at the old Siler City Bakery?  Do you have any memories of watching a movie at the Gem Movie Theater?  Or visiting the Edwards Jewelry Store?  If you remember any old Siler City establishments or have any memories of Siler City past, we’d love to talk!  Come to our informal meeting of the Siler City History Club and let’s share stories.  Light refreshments will be served.  Everyone is welcome. And it's free.

When:  Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30
