We’re a husband-and-wife team who both grew up Amish in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Bulk food stores were a staple in our community, and shopping at them was simply part of everyday life.
When we moved to North Carolina, we quickly realized how much we missed the quality, variety, and sense of tradition those stores offered. Every trip back home meant stocking up as much as we could.
Out of that longing came the idea for Amish Roots Bulk Foods—a way to bring the same goodness, value, and heritage we grew up with to our new community, both in store and online. Today, we’re grateful to share that experience with others who appreciate wholesome foods and the traditions that come with them.
