Our mission is to surround students with a network of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Communities In Schools Chatham County services include community based and school based services: Family Advocacy; Community Service and Restitution and Teen Court and CIS Model programs at Chatham Middle School, Virginia Cross Elementary and Bonlee School and Youth FIRST to include Mentoring (in school and community based) Tutoring and Lunch Buddies. CIS 5 Basics: A one-on-one relationship with a caring adult; A safe place to learn and grow; A marketable skill to use upon graduation; A chance to give back; A healthy start and a healthy future
