What do Galileo, Copernicus, Einstein, Karl Marx, Christopher Columbus, William Shakespeare, Charles Darwin, Martin Luther, Isaac Newton, and Johann Gutenberg all have in common? Besides being among the most influential people in history, they were all classically educated! Serving families for more than a decade in Chatham County, Haw River Christian Academy provides a classical education infused with a Christian worldview. Our classroom environment, with its content and method, develops thinking, articulate students within a structure that rewards self-control and personal diligence. We aim to shape the affections of our students and cultivate them to become lifelong learners who are able to love, serve, and lead with gratitude and humility. The school is a nonprofit, interdenominational organization represented by families who are actively involved in approximately 50 churches across four counties.
