As an Edward Jones financial advisor and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, it’s my joy to bring these qualities — along with my passion for building lasting relationships and even friendships — as I help my clients achieve their financial goals.

I was fortunate to have had mentors who encouraged me on this path, from earning my bachelor's degree at Campbell University through 20 years in corporate and health care accounting, including a CFO role in a hospital setting.

While I loved my years in corporate, helping people one at a time was where I found the greatest fulfillment, mentoring staff members or helping co-workers with financial questions. In 2009, even as I earned my MBA in health care administration and finance, I transitioned to the role of financial advisor.

My belief is that it’s critical to invest the time to understand what you’re working toward, before you ever invest money. Then, along with your accountant, attorney and other professionals, I’ll be able to help provide strategies that offer the most options for you and your family.

In addition to client work, being active in my community always helps me continue to learn, grow and give back. I serve on the board of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, as well as being involved in other organizations in the community.
