Deluxe Cleaners in Pittsboro (165 East Street) is hiring a Cashier/Clerk to join our team! We’re a growing laundry and home-care brand serving the Triangle area. This position is ideal for someone friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented, and who enjoys helping people while keeping operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with professionalism and care
• Check in, tag, and process garments using our CleanCloud POS system
• Handle payments accurately (cash, card, or digital)
• Communicate customer requests and special instructions to the production team
• Manage customer pickups and confirm order completion
• Keep the front counter and lobby organized and welcoming
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling deliveries or pickups

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills
• Prior experience in retail or front desk is a plus

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $12–$15/hour, depending on experience
