Small, family-owned and operated pest control company in Pittsboro is seeking a dedicated team player to join our office staff. Our company is looking for a full time Office Assistant to aid in the ever-growing needs within the pest control industry.
To be successful in this position, you should be highly detail-oriented with a strong talent for multitasking. Ability to maintain a positive demeanor during all customer interactions is a must.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling incoming calls on a multi-line phone system and relaying messages to the proper party.
- Accurately and confidently explaining our services to customers.
- Providing detailed customer notes to technicians.
- Confirming schedules and appointments.
- Entering service paperwork, payments, customer notes, etc. into our database.
- Helping to maintain shared office spaces and filing system.

Required:
- Minimum 2 years office experience
- Must be able to pass a background check/drug test
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
